"This is THE BEST BLACK SESAME LATTE you will ever have in your life!!! The cutest place, the karee is authentic with a homey taste that you only get in Japan. Shame I didn’t take a photo before - but you can tell how happy I was. No grain left in sight! So glad I decided to go in (I love anything Japan) - this will certainly be one of my local favourites."

"I will definitely come back again, it's very tasty, service was fast, staff were polite, nice quiet atmosphere. Very tasty beef curry, the beef was very soft and tender and the curry was so nice. It is quite expensive for the amount, but it's definitely worth it as an occasional treat. A great place to eat that's a little bit hidden."

"My experience was great overall. Someone in our party messed up a reservation at another place in Camden so we were scrambling to find something and ended up at Hidden Japanese Curry Lab. First of all, the location is amazing and so central. Other major pros: fair prices, unique culture, friendly staff, fast service, and seating options (or just takeaway). If you want a meal and a Japanese drink you've never seen in your life, great. Want a beer, sake, exotic teas, etc - they have it - along with their own merchandise. The menu is simplified, which I feel makes choices easier. The person working there was nice enough to take our picture, explain the history of the place, and was also real authentic Japanese, like myself. This institute is of great credit to Japan, Japan's culture, and all Japanese in London."

"20240405 Heart-warming comfort food for a quick recharge ^^. The curry is very special, quintessentially Japanese but also featuring an Indian spin— more texture and spices than the usual, sweeter, smoothly blended Japanese curry. And I do prefer these different flavors here. The sauce is not too oily or too salty either, combining the best characteristics from both cuisines. The portion of beef is very generous, mostly tender. Rice is decent. The pickles are refreshing. I just wish there were more fresh leafy vegetable side options other than kimchi and edamame. Steamed spinach or carrots would be just fine (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ"

"The Japanese staff member was very polite and took her time explaining the different curries and drinks available. We ordered the Katsu Chicken Curry, which was delicious and very filling. It reminded me of the curry I had in Japan. The staff was overall very attentive. Would recommend! ありがとうございました!"

"Very friendly place with authentic curry. The bright yellow decor is a very eye catchy and matching style for their product imo. Portions are generous, the curry is just hot enough that it will leave a tingling sensation on top your skull. It might look very dull, but its flavourful and layered, I had the beef curry and there was quite a few chunks of diced beef in it! And did I already mention the staff are friendly? They took their time to really introduce me to their toppings and what I should add on to my dish, and they did that with a big smile on their face!"
